On the day the rangers
left the ship in Glacier Bay, Elaine and I were on the deck just above the
ship's bridge. We heard a lot of activity going on down below. Out of the blue
I called out, "Mon Capitain!" Low and behold the captain looked out and waved
to us! Without blinking an eye, I took his picture! The rest is history! Now
get this...an Italian-American calling out in French to an Italian Captain of a
British ship! (My High School/College French came in handy.) A first for Tauck?
