The Professor's Best Games

  1. Winning Super Bowl XLII against the Patriots on February 3, 2008.

  2. Winning Super Bowl XXI against the Broncos on January 25, 1987.
  3. Winning Super Bowl XXV against the Bills on January 27, 1991.

  4. Winning the NFC Championship versus the Packers on January 12, 2008. 17-14 in overtime.
  5. Beating the Vikings for the NFC Championship on January 14, 2001  to go to Super Bowl XXXV.

  6. The playoff win on January 4, 1987against the 49er's where they beat them 49 to 3. Jim Burt totally wastes Montana on a sack.

  7. The 17-0 playoff victory against Washington on January 11, 1987  that put them in as NFC Championship.

  8. The playoff victory against the 49ers to win the NFC on January, 20 1991 on Matt Bahr field goal, 15-13.

  9. The play-off victory against the Bears on January 13, 1991, 31-3 to go the NFC Championship.

  10. Monday Night Football against the 49ers on the West Coast on December 29, 1985 when Bavaro drags several defenders many yards after the catch to rally the Giants for a come from behind victory.

  11. The Giants demolish the Redskins 36-0 on October 30, 2005 in a tribute to Mr. Mara, shutting out Joe Gibbs for the first time in the regular season.

 

The Professor's Worst Games

  1. "The Fumble" of November 19, 1978.

  2. The fold in the last 2 minutes of the December 27, 1997 playoff game against Minnesota.

  3. The playoff game of January 5, 2003 against the 49ers

  4. On November 26, 2006. The Giants blow a 21-0 in the fourth quarter, losing to Tennessee, 24-21
  5. The Monday night game on September 15, 2003 against the Cowboys.

  6. The playoff game of January 7, 1990 against the Rams in overtime when Flipper Anderson caught the touchdown from Everett and kept running into the tunnel and disappeared, game over!

  7. On November 13, 2005, Giants make NFL history while losing to the Vikings, 24-21, giving up touchdowns on an interception, kick-off, and punt return. Then the defense give up their only points in the last minute by surrendering a field goal.
